Eastview Church Family,

We have some very exciting news to share!

Eastview officially began our Lead Pastor search on September 15, 2023. On the 126^th day of the search, January 18^th, 2024, the Elders unanimously agreed to extend an offer to our final candidate believing God had called them to Eastview for a time such as this. The Elders made an offer… and it was accepted! The joy and overwhelming emotion in the room was sweet. A beautiful moment in the life of our church!

We are so excited to share with you Eastview’s new Lead Pastor. He’s only the fifth Lead Pastor in the history of our church, dating back to our inception in 1955. We are planning to share this exciting news on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at our weekend services at both the Bloomington and Normal Campuses. We would love to have you join us at 9:00am or 11:00am service.

As we reflect back on our search process, we have much to be thankful for:

• We’re thankful for the Slingshot Group and their partnership and coaching.
• We’re thankful that 20 unique Eastview staff members interacted with our final candidate before an offer was made.
• We’re thankful for the time investment and sacrifice our Search Team and Elder team made throughout this process.
• We’re thankful for the way our church family has grown more dependent on God throughout this season and the countless prayers offered up on behalf of our church and future Lead Pastor.
• We’re thankful for a new Lead Pastor that’s a Visionary Leader, a man of integrity and humility, and a person who has a heart for the lost.

We are so thankful to God that He continues to go before us. We believe our greatest days and most significant kingdom impact lie ahead. We can’t wait to share more with you on Sunday, February 4, 2024!
