There is always a need for quality volunteers to help us be faithful stewards in what we have been entrusted.

Teachers are provided with schedules, online lessons, worship leaders and all materials.

Every part of our Early Childhood area contributes to a safe, fun, learning environment for our 2 and 3 year old children! Serving opportunities range from Sunday teachers, coordinators who rotate serving one month/off one month to weekly resource team, office and parent room help one day during the work week. Teachers are provided schedules, lessons, ongoing training and all materials for Sunday. 

The Guest Services team volunteers on a month on and month off schedule welcoming visitors to Eastview as they sign in to computers, and assisting families as they take their children to designated classrooms.

Interested in preparing teacher materials for Eastview Kids PreK-3rd grade programs? You can volunteer once a month or Friday morning to help prepare the materials. 

Eastview Kids Security team members volunteer on a month on and month off schedule on Sundays. Volunteers assist in protecting our children by ensuring only authorized people in our Kids areas. 

Eastview Kids Special Needs is for students ranging in age from birth to 5th grade. Volunteers in this area rotate either on a month on and month off schedule or on a week on and week off schedule. Volunteers serve as a one-on-one buddy with a child, a sensory room helper, or a special needs teacher with all materials provided. 

Jesus’ heart and love for children is why we are so passionate about kids ministry at our church, and we are always looking for leaders who can join our team for the littlest disciples! Taking care of babies, leading a 2nd grade small group, greeting families or joining our Security team are just a few ways you can take part. Bringing up the next generation of our church takes a village. Just a simple “yeah, I’ll check it out” will do for a first step. Can’t wait to meet you!

There is no need to be intimidated that you may not "know enough". This is a safe place to learn alongside the kids as we all grow in our knowledge and love for Jesus. On the fence? Schedule a time to "come and see" what it's like to serve with the next generation! Possibilities to lead worship are also available.

Do you love to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the guests who attend Sunday worship service? Do you notice new guests and think about how to invite them to get connected and involved in the body life of the church? We have a need for this type of heart! We are looking for fully engaged teams to greet, usher, provide coffee and donuts, and follow up with people after the service to answer questions, pray and offer ways to further connect.

We have hundreds of prayer needs. Help our faithful prayer team lift up the praises and requests that come in through our church family.  

Help on Sundays and during the week with merchandising, inventory, and sales in our Resource Center. 

Do you like to help people out with occasional needs? We are looking for people who want to help with a variety of projects. These opportunities could include things such as: handyman projects, raking leaves, helping people move, making deliveries, helping with outdoor events, and other projects that pop up. If you like to help others, this is the place to serve!

We're looking for volunteer bus drivers to pick up people on Sunday morning from the Community Center (602 S. Main St.) and transport them to the Bloomington Campus for church services.  Current driver's license and background check are required.

Show hospitality to guests and church family through food and beverages! Tasks include taking orders, making food and beverages, baking, dishwashing and cleaning, set up and clean up. Tasks vary based on the area in Cafe 19. Volunteers serve on a month on and month off schedule for 2 hours.

Do you love to hang out with kids? We need volunteers to be with the kids of our Celebrate Recovery participants. This group will meet from 5:30-8:00pm on Mondays. You can serve weekly or every other week. Children may range from birth to high school.

Are you someone who enjoys working behind the scenes? We need volunteers to help clean and maintain our Community Center. Tasks could include light custodial work such as cleaning and stocking rest rooms, setting up events, taking out the trash, and keeping the building running smoothly. If serving others is your love language, we need you!

Do you enjoy for serving and meeting people and have heart for helping people meet basic physical and spiritual needs? Our food pantry serves families throughout McLean County. We need volunteers to help us serve our guests through greeting, checking-in, praying, shopping, loading out, or follow-up care phone calls.

We need volunteers who speak Spanish to assist our Spanish speaking guests. Our greatest need is on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. 

Do you have a heart for helping people overcome food insecurity but prefer to work and help behind the scenes? Our food pantry serves over 500 families a month. We need volunteers to enter data, pick-up deliveries, maintain stock, and stock shelves.

Plan and implement weekly small group experiences at the Bloomington Campus like meal coordination, childcare coordination, small group events and gatherings. Your small group can also serve a meal one time or on a regular basis.

We provide opportunities to gain experience coaching youth flag football, youth basketball, and youth volleyball. Prior experience is welcome but not necessary. Coaching opportunities are available for high school students and older. Expect to lead team devotions, display sportsmanship, and encourage leadership qualities. Background check and DCFS training are provided and required. Coaching support and practice plans are available as needed. This is roughly a 2 hr/week commitment for a 6-8 week season. 

This is a great opportunity for people that love to welcome the community to Eastview! We have various positions available such as helping at concessions, greeting at the doors, meeting new people, assisting with team gatherings, offering prayer, and giving half time devotions. The time commitment varies depending on the event. 

Volunteer referees are needed for youth flag football, youth basketball and youth volleyball. Prior experience is welcome but not necessary. Referee opportunities are available for high school students and older. Trainings are provided as needed. This is needed in 2 hour time slots throughout a given season. 

Volunteers will be taught how to run the scoreboard and will assist with keeping score and/or time at an activity. We need scorekeepers for both youth basketball and youth volleyball. This is a great opportunity for Jr. High students and older! This is needed in 2 hour time slots throughout a given season. 

Team Captains are needed for Adult Volleyball, Adult Basketball and Adult Pickleball. Captains will lead teams of like skilled players to give them a fun experience and invite them into deeper relationship and community. They will also help enforce the rules, teach the game to beginners, and occasionally lead devotional times. In some instances, captains will oversee dividing players into evenly skilled teams. General to advanced knowledge of the games are required. This is roughly a 1 hour time commitment each week throughout a season.

Volunteer opportunities include Coach and Assistant Coach. Lead team in basic fundamentals and weekly devotions. Games are played on Saturdays, October 21st through December 16th.

Help proclaim God's Word in Jr High worship services! This team is passionate about speaking in front of people and pointing others to Jesus through the reading of Scripture. Time commitment includes: rehearsing an assigned passage at home, and Sunday services.

Do you want to make a difference in the life of a junior high student? Discipling and shepherding students all while having a lot of fun on Wednesday nights? We would love to meet with you to discuss becoming a small group leader.

Help us welcome students to Sunday services, making each one feel seen and valued. These team members are assigned on rotation to be in the student spaces before, during, and after the service to assist with any student needs. Special focus will be placed on welcoming and connecting with any visitors or new students.

Love and support Junior High or High School students with special needs by spending time with them during Eastview Students programming. No special training or background needed! Help us to be a church that loves and supports all of our students well. 

Sound, lights, and graphics! Help execute Eastview Students Sunday services! This position is for adults who are comfortable coaching and working with 6-12 grade students. Adult Tech Directors are responsible for helping guide the student Tech Team during services on Sunday mornings. They work with the Eastview Student worship pastors to maintain the service’s flow and troubleshoot technical difficulties. This is an opportunity to help students learn to be creative and attentive. And we have so much fun! These volunteers are on a rotating basis and serve on Sunday mornings. Technical knowledge is preferred, but training is provided!

Do you have a passion for working with junior high and high school students? Do you have a love for ping pong or air hockey? Are you able to be a little goofy? Do you love sharing why Jesus Christ is the center of your life? Well, we have a place for you! From teaching opportunities, to greeting students, and in between, the student ministry area would love your help. We are looking for individuals who can help our students feel known, cared for, and loved. Swing by and see what student ministries is all about. You may just leave being remind that Jesus loves you and that you have influence! We can't wait to challenge you in air hockey!

In Eastview Students, we emphasize the importance of having student worship volunteers. However, we are looking for adults who have musical experience are willing to come alongside our 6-12 grade volunteers to help coach and encourage them as young worship leaders. We are looking for musicians who play drums, bass, acoustic, lead electric, rhythm electric, or keys. Musical skill & knowledge are required. Auditions will be on a case by case basis. 

This team of students leads the congregation in musical worship through singing and playing instruments. Auditions are required. Band auditions are held in the summer and winter. Vocal auditions are held in the summer. Time commitments include: practice time at home, Wednesday rehearsal, Sunday rehearsal & services.

This team is responsible for running all technical parts of our Sunday services. There are three positions in this team: Sound Technician, Computer Graphics, & Lighting. Time commitments include: Sunday rehearsal & services

The Guidance Network is an intentional network of people built to help young adults navigate life. We connect the older generation with the younger to impart wisdom and guidance through various life circumstances. Become a guide!

Do you have a heart for the elderly? We need visiting volunteers for nursing homes and shut-ins! Our volunteers are focused on visiting for conversation, encouragement, and prayer one or two days a month. Looking for people ages 45-75, who have daytime availability, good conversation skills, and patience.

We desire to help our new marriages start strong – so we partner each new couple with a marriage mentor. Couples meet with their marriage mentors 6 times prior to their wedding.
