Volunteer Opportunities

Meat Freezer Stocker for Food Pantry

Are you tired of being a "chicken" when it comes to stocking freezers? Do you have a "beef" with monotony and want to spice up your volunteer life? Look no further!

The Food Pantry is seeking a Meat Freezer Stocker Extraordinaire to join our team. The job involves stacking meat in the freezer, ensuring the food is properly labeled and rotated, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and using "Freezer Tetris" to maximize storage space. The job also requires a strong sense of humor and ability to lift 50 pounds. The perks include our gratitude and a free t-shirt with the Community Center logo. If you're ready to bring your A-game (and your love for all things meat) to our team, email Diane at dhaab@eastview.church today! Don't be a "chicken" – let's get this meat party started!

Food Donation Driver for Food Pantry

Do you have a passion for saving the world, one can of beans at a time? We're on a mission to feed the hungry, and we need your help!

As a Food Donation Driver, you'll be responsible for picking up food donations from Walmart and delivering to the Food Pantry. It's not just about hauling groceries, though - it's about spreading joy and full bellies. We pick up from Walmart on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday mornings and are looking for some additional drivers to help us out. If you have a valid driver’s license and can lift 50 pounds, you may be the person we are looking for! If you're ready to join the fight against hunger and have a love of Walmart, email Diane at dhaab@eastview.church today to volunteer with us!

Community Center Front Desk Volunteers

We are looking for some friendly faces to serve at the front desk of the Community Center. Volunteers are needed to greet visitors, answer questions, and direct people to meeting rooms. For more details, click HERE.

Celebrate Recovery Volunteers Needed

Does your small group need a new place to serve? Celebrate Recovery meets Monday evenings at the Bloomington Campus. We are looking for volunteers to greet, prepare and serve meals, assist with childcare, or work the lights and sound board. Come and show some ridiculous love to our CR Community! For more information email Desiree at dcampbell@eastview.church
