Easter at Eastview - Normal Campus

Join us for Easter services on March 31, at 8:00, 9:45, or 11:30am, as we celebrate together John's account of Jesus's resurrection. Brandon Grant, our new Lead Pastor, will be delivering the message!

Who are the people you have been praying for? Pick up invitation cards at the information centers and invite them to join you at one of the services!

There will be Kids programing all services however no Students programing. Please consider attending the 8:00 or 11:30am services to avoid the crowd at the 9:45am service and to make room for visitors.

Pack the Bus

Join us in Loving Our Community by packing the Community Center Bus with laundry detergent! On Sunday, March 10, the Bloomington Campus will be collecting laundry detergent to help our neighbors at Woodhill Towers. Smaller size bottles preferred (32-75oz).


Volunteer Fair

Looking for your place to serve at Eastview? We're hosting an Eastview Volunteer Fair on Sunday, March 3, from 8:45am–12:30pm. Representatives from our ministry departments will be available to share serving opportunities and answer any questions. Find us outside the Worship Center at the Normal Campus and outside the Welcome Center at the Bloomington Campus.

Kids and Students Summer Camps and Trips

Eastview’s 2024 summer camps and trips have launched. It might be cold outside now, but our NextGen ministry teams are planning and preparing for some amazing opportunities for your kids to experience God in monumental ways. Eastview has FIVE kids and student camps and trips for all ages and stages: Camp 45, SIX, MIX, MOVE, and Grad Trip. We also offer two family style camps: DadCamp and Family camp. Is your child asking about baptism? Come join us at the next Family Baptism class on Sunday, March 10, at 9:00am in Room 1404. Look for our banner near the lower Eastview Kids check-in area. No registration required.

Single Moms and their children are invited to join us for a time of rest, encouragement, and fellowship. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at the Bloomington Campus from 12:30 - 2:30pm. This group is free, but registration is required. Click HERE to register.

Normal Campus Single Moms

Single Moms and their children are invited to join us for a time of rest, encouragement, and fellowship. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at the Normal Campus in the upper atrium from 12:30–2:30pm. This group is free but registration is required.

Mom's Gathering

This is a weekly time for moms, sisters, and friends to come together and build connection and community with women of all ages and stages. The spring session runs from January 17 through May 15 from 9:30–11:00am. Childcare is provided and registration is required. Click HERE for more information and to register.

Young Adults Gathering - March 7

The Cross of Christ Bible Study

The Cross of Christ Bible Study will be on Thursday's March 28, and April 4, 11 and 18.   We will be in Room 1310, study is from 10-11:00am but come anytime after 9:30am to enjoy coffee and fellowship. There will no childcare available for this study. Click HERE to register. 

GriefShare Care Group

Journeying through the sea of grief and the loss of a loved one can be very difficult. You are not alone. GriefShare is a group designed to help you make sense of your grief journey while connecting with a community who can relate. The next GriefShare class starts February 27.  To register and for more information, click HERE. Registration ends March 13.

Student Nights at the Community Center

Are you a student in 6th-12th grades? Then come hang out with us at Student Night! We meet every Wednesday night from January 10 through May 8 from 6:00–7:15pm at the Community Center. There will be food, open gym, games, and time to spend with each other. We would love to see you there!

We have been made aware of texts that have been sent to some of our congregants appearing to be from Pastor Brandon Grant asking for a reply text or to purchase gift cards. These text messages are not from Brandon and are scams so please do not reply or follow the instructions. Individual staff members would never seek support in this manner. If you are ever unsure about the validity of a request, please reach out to the church directly at (309) 451-5000.

Volunteer Opportunities

Food Pantry Warehouse/Stocking 

Like to work behind the scenes?  Volunteers are needed to help unload deliveries, stock the freezers, and pick up food at several local vendors.  Needs are: Monday through Wednesday, mornings and afternoons.  For more information, email Tammy at tculhane@eastview.church.

Celebrate Recovery Volunteers Needed

Did you make a New Year’s resolution to get more involved?  Does your small group need a new place to serve?  Celebrate Recovery meets Monday evenings at the Bloomington Campus. We are looking for volunteers to greet, prepare and serve meals, assist with childcare, or work the lights and sound board. This Jesus-centered 12 step program is open to anyone looking for freedom. Mondays 6:00–8:00pm at the Bloomington Campus. For more information, click HERE.

The Fiber Arts Stitching group meets weekly to fellowship, learn new skills, and work on projects. Every Wednesday from 1:00-3:00pm at the Community Center, 602 S. Main St, Bloomington. For more information, click HERE.

The Sewing Circle meets twice a month at the Community Center, 602 S. Main St., Bloomington, to work on sewing projects for Local and Global Partners. For more information, click HERE.
