We believe it is better to give than to receive, so each Christmas we take up a special offering and give it ALL away to bless people and ministries locally and globally! On Sunday, December 15th we are challenging attendees of Eastview to give above and beyond to help fund this year’s incredible initiatives.

The challenge is for everyone to give $600 to this year’s Christmas Offering. We know that for some that is a lot to ask while others can give far more. Most importantly, we ask you to be prayerful about what God would have you contribute, remembering that everything given will bless the lives of hundreds to thousands of people!

Personal Impact

Providing financially for people and organizations that you see and know helps express the love of Jesus throughout our community and beyond. This initiative is your opportunity to nominate those people or organizations to receive funds from the Christmas Offering. If your nominee is selected, we will write a letter and send a check! Our hope is to give up to $250k to over 200 different nominees.

Local Impact

Caring for individuals and families in need of some extra groceries or assistance can make such a difference in someone’s life. This initiative is to help purchase food for our Food Pantry, as well as opportunities to reach people through our Community Center in order to help meet needs and point people to Jesus. Our hope is to give up to $150k to purchase food to be distributed through the Pantry, and another $150k to help provide resources and opportunities to people who utilize our Community Center.

Next Gen Impact

Attending camp is a pivotal spiritual growth catalyst in the lives of kids and students whether it’s choosing to follow Jesus for the first time or cultivating or deepening friendships that help them practice the ways of Jesus together. This initiative is to help subsidize the cost of camps for all ages in order that every student who desires to go to camp can go! Our hope is to give up to $150k to reduce the cost of camps, through scholarships for kids or students who need more assistance.

Global Impact

Partnering with missionaries and ministries throughout the world helps spread the Good News of Jesus throughout the world. This initiative is to help our strategic global partners further meet needs and expand ministry efforts in their respective countries and regions. Our hope is to give up to $100k to our global partners.
