Lead a small group of boys (ideally 4-8 kids) and participate with them in activities throughout the event. You must be in high school or older to volunteer for this event. We will select our small group leaders in January as we begin to formulate the groups based on registration. We will be in communication with you the first week of January as we gear up for SUPERSTART 2027! Time commitment: 5:15pm-10:30pm on the 29th and 8:00-4:00 pm the 30th.  

CIY General Volunteer – Assist CIY with general duties such as ushering and greeting at the doors before sessions. You will be needed Friday and Saturday (Friday 5:15pm – 10pm) and Saturday 7:30am – 2:00pm) You must be in high school or older to volunteer for this role. 

Help CIY load out their equipment and pack their trucks, must be in high school or older to volunteer for this event. Time commitment: Saturday, 3:30 - 6:00 pm.

Assist CIY with selling their merchandise. Must be available both days (Friday 5:15-10pm, Saturday 7:30am-1:30pm). You must be in high school or older to volunteer for this event.  

Assist CIY with registration for other churches attending the event in our building. Time commitment: Friday, 5pm - 8pm. 

Help clean up areas used during our SuperStart event. Time commitment: 1:00pm - 3:00 pm, or 3:00pm – 5:00pm on Saturday, January 30th. Please indicate which time slot works best for you.

Assist staff with checking in Eastview kids and giving out group assignments. You must be in high school or older to volunteer for this event. Time commitment: Friday, 5:15 pm - 7:00 pm.       

Supervise activities in the gym during registration time. You must be in high school or older to volunteer for this event. Time commitment: 5:15pm - 7:00 pm the 29th.

Be present at check-in to accept all medications brought by kids and stay throughout SuperStart event to administer medications as needed, as well as provide basic first aid. Time commitment: 5:15pm-10:30pm on the 29th and 8:00-4:00 pm the 30th.

Set up and serve lunch for SuperStart kids, must be in high school or older to volunteer for this event. Time commitment: Saturday, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. 

Assist CIY with security needs on both Friday night and Saturday. Friday 5:15-10pm and Saturday 7:30am-4pm. You must be over 18 to volunteer for this role

Help get everything set up and ready for SuperStart to begin that evening. Time commitment: Friday, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. 

Be the buddy for a child with special needs and participate with them in activities throughout the weekend. You must be in high school or older to volunteer for this event. Time commitment: 5:15pm-10:30pm on the 29th and 8:00-4:00 pm the 30th.
